Where Do Blocked Yahoo Emails Go?

Getting spam emails has become an annoying part of the digital world. They clutter our inboxes and can waste countless hours of work, especially for businesses and other organizations. To help keep your inbox free of unwanted messages, you can use Yahoo email blockers to stop receiving emails from people you don’t want to communicate with.

You can block a sender by using the web and mobile versions of Yahoo Mail. To do so, log into your account and click the Settings gear icon in the upper-right corner of the window. Select More Settings and then Security and privacy from the menu. In the Blocked addresses section, select Add and enter the address to be blocked.

Then, if you don’t want to block the contact anymore, simply remove it from the list. If you decide to add them back, follow the same steps.

In the desktop version of Yahoo Mail, you can add email addresses to a list in the Blocked addresses section of the Security and privacy option under More Settings. Alternatively, you can create automation rules to apply this action to messages sent from specific email addresses.

You can also manually delete forged email addresses from the Inbox and Trash folders of Yahoo Mail. To do so, open up the message’s full header and compare the address listed at the top to the one that appears in the bottom. If the two addresses don’t match, the email has likely been forged and will be blocked by Yahoo.

If you’re on the mobile app, you can block an email address on your iPhone by opening the Yahoo Mail app and selecting the subscriber from the subscription sheet. In the lower-right corner of the screen, tap the three-dotted More button. Similarly, you can block an email address on your Android device by tapping the More button from the lower-right navigation and choosing Blocked addresses.

If an email you have blocked is still in your inbox, it will be re-routed to your Spam folder. However, you can easily access it by re-sending it to yourself or by deleting the entire message.

It’s best to monitor your inbox regularly and not let email clutter interfere with your productivity. You can do this by setting up filters that automatically move incoming email messages to different folders, or by using an inbox management program like Clean Email.

In addition to preventing unauthorized access to your personal information, a clean email inbox can also prevent you from being victimized by phishing scams and spam. If you’re suspicious of an email, don’t click on any links in it. Instead, use a trustworthy contact’s email address to contact them directly.

You can block up to 500 email addresses in the web and mobile versions of Yahoo Mail, and you can add up to 1,000 email addresses using automation rules on your computer. Alternatively, you can use Clean Email to automatically delete email messages from specific domains, and to unblock addresses in bulk.
