The Claw Meme

In the millennial age, memes are becoming a major part of life, not just online, but in the real world as well. Many people use memes to amuse themselves, and some have even turned them into tinder profiles. The claw meme is one such example. It started out as a video of Trevor Wallace using a low-alcohol beer, but quickly became a viral hit on YouTube. The video quickly turned Wallace into a pastel-wearing bro, and the claw meme was born.

Although the original White Claw was marketed towards adults over the age of 21, the meme quickly reached a different demographic – bros! YouTuber Trevor Wallace took the craze to new levels by mocking White Claw drinkers, and soon the hashtag #WhiteClaw began to trend on Twitter. This video inspired a series of spin-off White Claw memes, and it spread fast.
