If you love to create multimedia content for social media, you might be interested to learn that Snapchat is allowing you to add music to snaps. Adding music to your Snaps gives them a more personal touch. For instance, you can record ambient music, sing, or play your favorite song. Once you’ve recorded the music, you can send it to your friends. And once they’ve received it, they can share it to their own Story.
There are two ways to add music to your Snaps: You can use the music library on Snapchat, or you can upload your own sound from your camera roll. Using Snapchat’s library, you’ll have access to a limited number of songs, and you’ll have to choose from the list of supported songs. Fortunately, Snapchat has a feature that lets you choose from a curated list of popular music, so you can find the perfect piece to accompany your Snap.
When you’re ready to add your music to a Snap, you’ll first have to launch the Snapchat app. Then, you’ll need to take a photo or video. Afterward, you’ll need to switch to the My Sounds tab. From there, you’ll have to tap the Music note icon. It’s located in the right vertical menu. Tapping on it will display a list of available sounds. Selecting a song will allow you to preview it, as well as trim it to the right length. To delete the song, you’ll need to drag it to the bottom of the screen, where a trash icon appears.
You can also add a music sticker, which shows the name of the song, the artist, and the title. These stickers are available in different sizes and can be dragged to other locations within your Snap. Also, you can choose the scale of the song’s title. By selecting the appropriate option, you’ll be able to change the position, size, and color of the song’s title.
Lastly, you can customize your music by removing, adding, or deleting the sticker. This allows you to select the portion of the song that you’d like to include in your Snap, or even change the scale. In addition, you can customize your sticker and share it with your friends. Deleted stickers can be dragged to the trash.
Whether you’re putting a little background music on your Snapchat or sending it to your friends, you can be sure that the Sounds feature will be a huge hit. After all, it’s a great way to engage your followers and give them a new reason to follow you on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
But before you jump into adding your own music to Snaps, make sure that you’ve downloaded the music update. As soon as you’ve finished the process, you’ll see a snippet of the song on the bottom of your Snap. Adding a soundtrack to your snaps will work for videos that last at least 10 seconds, but you can also make custom background music for your Snaps.
