The Air Max 97/BW was released in a collaboration between Skepta and Nike. Skepta’s Air Max 97 project was a hybrid that combined the features of the 97 and BW. The shoe also features a mismatched accent color palette that brings together the two styles. The upper is predominantly white, with blue accents while the lace-up is complemented by red accents.

A metallic version of the Air Max 97/BW is also available. It fuses the best of the Air Max 97 with the BW midsole. The shoe has a leather and mesh build, a white 3M reflective strip and black textile accents at the ankle. The indigo rubber Swoosh and Air Max branding are also visible on the heel.
