Miss Jackson County’s rosequeen pageant is held on Aug. 23 at Jackson High School. It is one of the largest pageants in the country and provides thousands of dollars in scholarship money and prizes to local girls. The contest is open to all women in the county. Contestants will be judged on their talent, interview, and red carpet evening wear.

Jackson County’s newest beauty queen is Taitym Marie Wilson. She is a local student. She attended high school in Geneva and has been a cheerleader for five years. She has always had a heart for children. She is also a member of the Miss Jackson County Pageant.

Mackenzie Dougherty will be crowned Miss Jackson County in 2022. The event kicks off the Jackson County Fair. Other queens in this year’s pageant include Isabel Blackdeer, Makayla Lopez, and Avory Gazdecki. The winners of this pageant will receive scholarships and other prizes.

The upcoming contestants include three students who have high school diplomas. Two will perform for their platforms. One will sing “Czardas” by Vittorio Monti. The other will perform a Zumba dance. While preparing for the contest, both candidates are busy studying for college. In addition, they will perform skits based on their platforms.

The pageant is a fun way for girls to get recognition in the community and win scholarships. It’s also an excellent way for young girls to get involved in the community and volunteer. The pageant is open to girls nine to 21 years old. The winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship from Miss Jackson County.
