Mark Carano, Sr. VP, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer at Insteel

Mark Carano is a Sr. VP, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer at Insteel Industries, Inc. He previously served as a Senior VP and Chief Corporate Development Officer at Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc., as well as Chief Financial Officer of Big River Steel LLC. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Prior to his appointment as CEO of Insteel, Mr. Carano worked as an investment banker for the global industrials group at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown. He has also worked as an investment banking associate at First Union Securities, a manager of corporate development at FMI, and a staff advisor to U.S. Representative Walter Herger. He holds an MBA from Kellogg Business School and a BA from Vanderbilt University.

Before being fired by WWE, Mark Carrano served as Senior Director of Talent Relations for the company, a role in which he handled communication between wrestlers and various departments. While he was no longer employed at the company, he was first recognized for his work in the WWE’s Total Divas series.

Mark’s experience includes developing marketing and business development strategies and implementing these strategies. He has a proven track record in successfully integrating inclusion and diversity initiatives into business development strategies. His expertise also includes strategic planning, brand management, and media relations. His leadership skills will help B&W pursue new business opportunities, as well as new strategic partnerships.
