Legacy 696CD/B Keypad Programming

If you have a Legacy 696CD/B overhead door opener, you can use the OKP-BX wireless keypad to program your unit. It is factory-programmed to work with a Code Dodger II garage door opener and is compatible with Legacy 696CD/B, Standard Drive, and Phantom 777CD garage door openers. However, you will need to follow some additional programming steps if you want to use the wireless key pad with other brands.

Before you can program the keypad, you must install it. You can do this by drilling a pilot hole or installing a bottom screw. Next, you should set a new PIN. You can also set a temporary PIN for temporary access. The temporary PIN stays active until you enter your normal PIN again.
