How to Use the Snipping Tool on Chromebook

If you’ve ever wanted to take screenshots of the screen on a Chromebook, you’ve come to the right place. This basic tool lets you capture information on the screen and share it with others. You can do this from within the Chrome browser or by taking a screenshot directly on your device. The screenshots you take are stored in the Downloads folder. To edit the screenshots, simply double-click the screenshot in question.

To use the snipping tool, open the Chrome web browser and choose the option “Add to Chrome.” After doing so, you will be able to add any app you want. However, you can only add apps you have downloaded through the Chrome browser. To get the snipping tool for your Chromebook, go to the Chrome Web store and search for “snipping tool”.

Once you’ve installed the app, you can then use the “Snipping Tool” to take screenshots of the screen. You can also take screenshots of the full screen using this extension. You can also take screenshots of just a window or a part of the screen using the snipping tool. You’ll find the snipping tool in the Extensions section. Regardless of which option you choose, you’ll find it extremely useful.

The screenshot tool works much like it does on Windows and is very intuitive to use. Clicking on the screenshot tool will reveal a rectangular dotted outline. Once the screenshot is open, you can adjust the size of the image by pressing the Shift key while moving the arrow keys on your keyboard. You can also select a section of the screen or the entire page using the rectangle tool. You can edit the screenshots in the same way as you do with the screenshot tool in Windows.

Snipping on Chromebooks differs slightly from taking screenshots on Windows and Mac computers. In contrast to Windows computers, capturing screenshots on Chromebooks is incredibly easy with the use of keyboard shortcuts. With a third-party snipping tool, you can even grab screen content with the click of a button. You can then share the screenshot with anyone you want. It’s that simple!

Aside from using the keyboard shortcuts to capture screenshots, you can also use Chrome extensions to improve the functionality. You can download LightShot, a free Chrome extension, or a program like PhotoSnap to add screenshot editing capabilities to your Chromebook. These apps make screenshot editing easy and even let you upload the screenshots to a server for easier sharing. You can edit screenshots using LightShot in the same way as with any other app.
