How to Fix a SSL SYSCALL Error

A problem with SSL connections may result in an SSL SYSCALL error. This can happen when the client thinks that the TCP connection is still live but the server has hung without telling it to do so. The client then sends a query down the pipe and then notices that the connection has broken.
