How Expensive is the Disney College Program?
If you are considering taking on a paid internship, the Disney College Program may be for you. This program is designed to provide a hands-on learning experience and is a great way to gain transferable skills. Applicants can work in a variety of positions, from lifeguard to merchandise sales. In addition to these positions, applicants can also take classes and receive college credit.
To be eligible for the Disney College Program, applicants must be 18 years of age and enrolled in an accredited institution. Disney College Program applicants can attend school either in the United States or in California. Applicants can choose to live on-site or in their own apartments. As with other housing options, participants will pay a fee. These fees support Disney College Program events and administration costs.
The Disney College Program offers a one-of-a-kind experience with an opportunity to learn in a variety of Disney parks and resorts. It allows participants to develop a diverse set of transferable skills and build a strong resume. Those who participate in the Disney College Program also have the chance to meet leaders from the Walt Disney World Resort and other areas. Participants can participate in an optional second semester, where they can earn college credits.
The Disney College Program teaches students how to work in a team and develop strong communication and problem-solving skills. Students can apply for a variety of positions, including ride attendant, custodial, merchandise sales, and food service. Applicants can earn $12 to $15 an hour. However, they must be flexible with their schedules. They must be able to work in the park when the park is closed, as well as during vacation periods.
