How Do You Cheat on a Pen Test?
Cheating during a pen test can result in failure, suspension or expulsion from school if detected by examiners; however, there are methods you can employ that are less detectable by examiners.
One way of creating cheat notes is to write them on small strips of paper and attach them directly to your pencil. Another strategy would be keeping them in a pencil case and retrieving them by pretending you require additional paper during an exam.

Tape Notes Along Your Pencil
Use clear tape to adhere small notes securely to the side of your pencil and easily access them by turning the pencil. Or you could hide multiple notes inside the cap of your pen: write notes on strips of paper and roll them up before inserting them inside its cap – they can easily be taken out at test time as needed! Careful not to pack too tightly though or else it could reveal your cheating methods!
Law professor recently posted on Twitter an image showing 11 blue Bic pens with tiny notes etched along their sides, an attempt at cheating which unfortunately was discovered and resulted in severe disciplinary measures against her.
Hide Notes in a Pen Cap
Have you ever opened a box of Bic pens before? You may have noticed the small hole in their caps; this small but vital feature helps equalize pressure and makes unscrewing/capping easier, while protecting from ink clogging the tip or potentially being swallowed accidentally by users.
One mischievous Spanish law student went the extra mile in exploiting this loophole to cheat on a pen test by engraving answers onto the caps of his pens. Yolanda de Lucchi shared images on Twitter of 11 blue pens with tiny writing on them during a test on Criminal Procedural Law; she claimed she confiscated these pens during class and that de Lucchi found them while cleaning out her drawer several years ago. Apparently this scheme had already been dismantled, yet these pens recently reappeared while de Lucchi was cleaning out her drawer a second time!
Cheating on tests may not be the most discreet of methods, but this approach may still work if done carefully and undetected. Make sure your pencil doesn’t become too slippery as that could get you caught!
Writing notes on a strip of paper and rolling it up is another effective method for concealing notes in a pen cap. Loosely place it inside the cap of your pen during exam days; once finished simply remove and retrieve your notes. Be wary not to pack too tightly as this could make retrieving them harder!
alternative method is writing answers on your fingernails; however, this could make the cheating more noticeable to your supervisor because it is less covert.
Write Your Cheat Notes in White Colored Pencil
White colored pencils provide the ideal covert cover to write cheat notes on, making this method one of the easiest ways to cheat on a pen test. Simply write your notes on small strips of paper covered by clear tape and wrap them around one end of your pencil during testing, turning your pencil over each time to read your notes as the test proceeds. While this method works best for shorter notes such as numerical equations or multi-step problems.
Utilizing a pen cap as an effective means of hiding cheat notes during an exam is another efficient strategy for concealing them, though be careful not to overstuff it with paper as this could make retrieving them during testing more challenging and draw attention to your suspicious activities.
If the tests in your class allow for blank sheets of paper for working out equations, use white colored pencil to take notes. It will be difficult for supervisors to detect remotely; however, other students might notice. You could also use White Out; however this method would make its presence known more quickly while also blurring paper’s natural lines.
If the test in your class requires self-marking, invest in a pen with erasable ink so that when reviewing answers to self-check, incorrect answers can be discreetly erased and replaced with correct ones. Be careful when writing lightly so any marks left behind don’t betray you!
Keep Notes in a Pencil Case
Pencil cases can be an ideal tool for concealing cheat notes during exams. Simply find one that fits easily in your backpack or purse, write out answers before the test on small pieces of paper and place them inside before concealing your attempts with this method. Be sure to pack loosely so as to not draw attention to yourself and your efforts!
Use an erasable ink pen to cover over old answers on your test with new ones, then quickly erase and replace with correct answers when self-checking without anyone noticing. This works particularly well when taking exams requiring many answers such as math or science exams where teachers are unlikely to recognize your handwriting.
If you want to take things one step further, hiding answers in the cap of a pen can be another effective method of cheating during exams. If your pencil case or pens with easily removable caps do not permit this method of concealment, write your notes on thin strips of paper and roll them up into tiny tubes before writing your exam answers on them – then remove the cap while pretending you need additional lead for your pencil and retrieve your answers by pretending they belong there!
Note, however, that this method of cheating can be extremely risky and will almost certainly draw the notice of teachers or other students. Furthermore, swallowing papers could potentially cause serious health risks such as choking.
Use Erasable Ink
Erasable ink could help you pass a pen test undetected. These pens feature thermosensitive ink, which reacts to both extreme heat and cold – disappearing when heated but reappearing when the temperature dips to under -10 degrees Celsius. They’re also great for writing or drawing on paper as their ink lasts longer than pencil writings!
Your teacher may allow you to use an erasable pen in class as an aid in taking notes prior to or during tests. If they specify self-marking tests, use one with erasable ink to write down answers for every question on it – when it comes time to self-mark it later on, discreetly erase incorrect answers and replace them with correct ones when the time comes for self-marking! Remember to write lightly as pressing too hard will leave indentations on paper that reveal any attempts at cheating!
To avoid smearing, let the ink dry before you begin writing your cheat notes on wooden pencils or other surfaces. Additionally, keep one spare pen and pencil without notes in case someone needs yours during an exam; or store them in your eyeglass case – though this may make hiding them from supervisors more challenging.
If you plan to use an erasable pen as part of a test cheating scheme, make sure not to place it directly under sunlight or near a radiator. Erasable ink reacts negatively when exposed to extreme temperatures; for best results keep your pen in a cooler environment like your desk or pencil case.
