How Do I Insert a Picture Into a Header and Footer in PowerPoint?

If you are working with PowerPoint, you can easily add images to your slides. For instance, you can add pictures or logos to your PowerPoint presentation. In order to do this, you have to follow some steps. First, you need to open a document. Next, you need to select the picture you want to insert. You can also upload a picture from another application, like Word or Excel. However, it is important to check that the picture you have chosen has copyright rights.

Once you have selected a picture, you can begin to work with it. There are several ways you can edit your image, including moving, deleting, and resizing it. The formatting options for the inserted image can be adjusted by clicking on the Format Picture button. Also, you can resize the picture with a cell, or merge it to a larger cell.

In addition to adding images to your slide, you can also insert headers and footers. Headers appear at the top of each page, while footers appear at the bottom of the slide. Footers can be used to display custom text. They can contain dates, numbers, or even a title. Depending on the setting you select, footers can display information on a single slide or be placed on every slide in the presentation.

When you are ready to add a picture to a slide, you can use the Insert tab of the Office ribbon. Alternatively, you can double-click on a picture. Afterwards, you will see a format Object dialog box. To resize or delete the picture, you can either press the Delete key or hold the Ctrl key while selecting the picture. Alternatively, you can move the picture by clicking on one of the four corners of the picture and dragging it inward or outward.

If you do not want to include a picture in the header or footer, you can instead choose to add a text box. This is especially useful if you are creating a handout. A text box is a box that you can type in, and it will automatically align to the left and right. After you click in the text box, you will have the option of highlighting and editing the text to make it look the way you want. Additionally, you can change the appearance of the text with text effects or text outline.

Headers can be edited or moved at any time. However, if you have created a handout, you may not be able to move a header. Using a text box allows you to have a uniform header throughout your presentation. Furthermore, if you want to make a header that is based on a different date than the current date, you can use the Date and Time option in the Text section of the Office ribbon.

Depending on your needs, you can also choose to create a text box that will be on all slides. You can choose to place the text box at the top of each slide.
