2015 Santa Cruz Bronson C Review

The 2015 Santa Cruz Bronson C is one of the company’s top mountain bikes. It has been updated from the original three seasons ago with a longer top tube, slacker chainstays, and Boost 148 suspension. With its light weight and balanced geometry, the Bronson C is capable of all types of mountain biking. It also features a brand new Reverb dropper seat post and a 3M clear protective film covering the entire carbon frame.

The Santa Cruz Bronson C is a large-sized mountain bike with all the essential features. It comes equipped with XT components, Rock Shox drop-off post, Race Face bars, and Cush Core inserts. It also has a slack head tube angle and a steeper seat tube angle. The resulting geometry gives it cat-like handling. In addition, the Bronson’s suspension has been tweaked to make the ride more comfortable and smooth.

The Bronson C is available with an XO1 build kit that comes equipped with a single-ring drivetrain, RockShox Pike fork, SRAM Guide RSC brakes, and Fox Float X Factory EVOL rear shock. There are a variety of build kits available and a base-level Bronson C is priced at $3600. This price includes the frame, lightweight components, and a few more options.

The Bronson c features a revised suspension system incorporating Santa Cruz’s Virtual Pivot Point (VPP) system. The lower pivot link is now closer to the frame for better standover clearance. It also includes ISCG-05 tabs to mount a chain guide.

The 2015 Santa Cruz Bronson C has a slightly steeper head angle than the Nomad and has a shorter wheelbase. Overall, it is similar to the Nomad. However, the Bronson is less capable of descending. Because of this, it is difficult to choose between the two.
